Atlanta-based PrizePicks has signed a brand ambassador deal with comedian Drew “Druski” Desbordes.
North America’s largest daily fantasy sports operator has inked a multi-year partnership with Druski, the popular online actor and comedian.
As part of the deal, Druski will participate in several marquee events, including the PrizePicks World Championship.
Deal includes comedy series for PrizePicks
While Georgia sports betting remains off-limits, daily fantasy sports (DFS) play is legal and popular in the Peach State. PrizePicks was selected as Fantasy Sports Business of the Year by the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association in 2023. Also last year, the company was tabbed as Fantasy/DFS Operator of the Year by EGR North America.
Customers can place daily fantasy picks for the NFL, MLB, NBA, and other sports with the PrizePicks app or via its website. PrizePicks has also expanded its esports offering with the launch of its esports lab, which includes useful informational content and livestreams of major esports tournaments.
Fans can expect social media takeovers from the man who became well-known for founding Coulda Been Records, a wannabe music label that served as a creative vehicle for Druski to collaborate with celebrity pals Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and others.
Druski will team with PrizePicks on co-branded merchandise, as well. He will also helm a short-form comedy series for PrizePicks on YouTube, where he has nearly two million followers. In the past, Druski has shared his experience as a customer of the PrizePicks fantasy game, posting many of his daily picks on X.
‘Coulda Fest’ takes place in Atlanta on Sept. 7
On Sept. 7, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena will host Druski’s first-ever “Coulda Fest.” The event will feature comedians, music, and other entertainment. PrizePicks is the title sponsor.
Druski said he’s looking forward to continuing his relationship with PrizePicks as its official ambassador.
“I’m fired up to work with PrizePicks. We’ve done some cool stuff over the years, and I’m excited to keep it coming. Coulda Fest is a celebration of Atlanta’s culture that brings us back to the special times in our city’s history with a night of music and comedy. This concept has never been done before, so I’m looking forward to bringing this vision to life, thanks in part, to the support from PrizePicks.”
