When a partnership is working, you’re well-suited to continue it. If it’s working extremely well, you expand upon it. That’s exactly what Atlanta-based DFS outlet PrizePicks has done, cementing a deal with Braves Development Co. to bolster its footprint at The Battery.

For the unfamiliar, The Battery is the complex that surrounds Truist Park, and contains retail shopping, restaurants, bars, as well as Braves fan-centric areas to enjoy. With PrizePicks’ new deal, branded signage will be present throughout The Battery, as well as a prominent mural outside of the Yard House

This new deal comes on the heels of PrizePicks and the Atlanta Braves renewing their partnership earlier this year. With the expansion to The Battery, PrizePicks will now feature prominently in the restaurant and retail sector that is enjoyed by tens of thousands of fans before and after ball games each year.

PrizePicks CEO Adam Wexler commented on the expanded partnership:

“PrizePicks was born in Braves Country and over the past few years we have shared many celebrations at The Battery Atlanta while growing from a startup just down the road to becoming the number one fantasy sports operator in the country,” Wexler said. “We look forward to being a part of the next chapter of memories with our hometown team.”

PrizePicks has leaned into its Atlanta ties as a focal part of its brand marketability, recently opening an office space in Midtown. They have also become the first Daily Fantasy sponsor of MLS’ Atlanta United. As a hometown brand, it has found value in entrenching itself with the hometown teams. With that methodology, PrizePicks has not only increased its visibility to folks at the ballpark but to the community as a whole.

And enhanced brand visibility is certainly one of the areas that the partnership with Braves Development Co. will be able to deliver on. The Battery welcomed over 10 million visitors in 2022, making it one of the top mixed-use destinations in the sporting world. PrizePicks appears well positioned to continue to build upon its embrace of Atlanta and its major sports organizations to continue its ascent as one of the fastest-growing sports companies in the United States.
